A few weeks ago, we were invited to visit Wellmont Infusion.  This is the group that mixes Gus’ meds and TPN (the nutrition he gets through his central line).  We were very surprised at the welcome we got….the kids got to “gown-up” and mix an IV, we toured the warehouse and then ended with an ice cream party!  Later, I found several cards stuffed into Gus’ diaper bag…this wonderful group of people had gathered up money for us to help with Gus’ transplant expenses.  Isn’t that sooooo nice!  Jake and Belle think it would be neat to be a pharmacist.  Nik, on the other hand, still hates needles! lol!!

These are a few of the wonderful Wellmont team…L to R.  Angie, In-Take Coordinator and my Crying Buddy, Perry, the pharmacist that fixes everything and makes it all A-OK!, and Hollie, TPN Master (she mixes Gus’ nutrition).  There are many others that we have gotten to know and love but for some reason they were able to escape my camera! lol!!  Oh…and that’s my son, Gus, that Angie is holding!! lol!!
