I’m School Butter!!
It’s official!! I have just paid for my first of three pre-requisite classes I need before applying to nursing school!! We weren’t sure if I would be able to start working on these pre-reqs this summer because of our low funds, but God has worked out our money in such a way that I will now be able to take the class! I am also thrilled that a friend just so happened to have the books I need for these classes and she’s letting me borrow them…another of God’s provisions!!
I am soooo excited!! I’ll be taking Anatomy and Physiology I this summer and then Anatomy and Physiology II and Microbiology this fall. All of these classes are online so I’ll be able to still homeschool the kids. I hope to get into the evenings and weekend nursing school next summer.
I am so happy for you, I know you will do well even though I don’t know you, you sound like a wonderful person, Nursing is something I always wanted to do, but didn’t get the chance to do it. I am now an Educational Assistant and work with kids with special needs and have been doing this for 20 years and I am ready to retire soon, you will have a great carrier, so keep us posted as to how you are doing…Mary

I wish you much success in nursing. I am actually in my last year right now. You will do great. I had a couple of classes with your husband because I remember him showing us the video he made in my Peds class about Gus. Very heartbreaking….I cried the whole time through it. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the classroom when it was done. I remember those A&P and Micro classes! Who are your professors for those classes because maybe I could give you some pointers ;-). Anyways I wish you much luck!!!
